Our story

We’re a fuel business and always have been – evolving out of just two Mobil stations back in 1975 to become an independent brand that offers customers better value and friendlier service.

In 1997, when the oil industry deregulated, our first metro station wasopened in Manila. It’s still open for business today at Espana Blvd, Sampaloc, Manila. If you’re passing in the area, just drop in to fill up and say hello.

Customers really liked the Metro blend – fuels that match the majors for quality but at lower prices whenever possible. So it’s no surprise that by 2002, our network had grown to 10 Metro stations.

Quality, value and more friendly and helpful service from a team that really knows the fuel business helped us connect with more and more customers – and opened our 20th station in 2006.

We have over 30 stations today with 10 more coming soon. But this is just the start. We want to open over 100 Metro stations as soon as we can.
